During the SC&RA Annual Conference, April 2-6, at the Westin Kierland, Scottsdale, AZ, the Association elected Ron Montgomery, Intermountain Rigging & Heavy Haul, Salt Lake City, UT, as President. Joining Montgomery as officers for the 2013-2014 term are:
- Chairman: Michael Battaini, Sheedy Drayage, San Francisco, CA
- Vice President: Alan Barnhart, Barnhart, Memphis, TN
- Treasurer: Delynn Burkhalter, Burkhalter, Columbus, MS
- Assistant Treasurer: Bruce Forster, Rigging Gear Sales, Dixon, IL
Also joining the Board are four newly elected Group Chairs:
- Allied Industries Group: Dave Wittwer, Hays Companies, Salt Lake City, UT
- Crane & Rigging Group: David Cowley, TNT Crane & Rigging, Longview, TX
- Transportation Group: Geary Buchanan, Buchanan Hauling & Rigging, Fort Wayne, IN
- Ladies Group: Cathy Moore, NBIS, Atlanta, GA
The newly-elected officers will serve one-year terms that will expire at the Association’s next Annual Conference, to be held April 22-26, 2014 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, Boca Raton, FL
Additionally, SC&RA elected the following six new Board members to serve three-year terms:
