New head of global sales for Terex Cranes

Terex Cranes has promoted Frank Bardonaro to the newly created position of vice president and managing director global sales.

The new role is based in Europe and Bardonaro is therefore planning to relocate in the near future. He will assume full commercial responsibility for the company’s complete range of mobile cranes worldwide, working in partnership with local distributors and Terex sales organizations.

Dan Slater, currently general manager of North America operations, will assume the new role of general manager of Terex Mobile Cranes North America.

Bardonaro joined Terex in September 2010 from US crane rental company Amquip, where he was chief executive, prior to that he was a senior manager at Maxim Crane rental.

Kevin Bradley, president of Terex Cranes said: “Frank has already achieved much for our company during his first year. His impressive understanding of the cranes industry makes him the right person for this new position that will be focused on providing global, world-class customer service. Together with our team, I congratulate him on his new role and wish him every success.”

“I am looking forward to working with all Terex mobile cranes distributors to provide our customers with the best offering and support in the industry,” added Bardonaro.
