The unit was shipped from JLG’s plant in McConnellsburg Pennsylvania to its European plan in Maasmechelen, Belgium.
The 1500SJ is the first straight boom lift to reach 150ft platform height – almost 48 metres of working height. Based on the company’s 135SJ Ultraboom, it features a telescopic articulating jib that provides up to 7.62 metres of outreach from the boom tip

Shortly after its arrival in Maasmechelen, Roger Orton – JLG’s field training manager - conducted a training course for JLG’s technical managers on service and maintenance requirements for the new machine.
