Crane and Rigging Experts to address the CRC/ICHC Conference

Crane & Rigging Hot Line and Industrial Lift & Hoist magazines announced a high impact program of industry experts who will lead discussions on crane and rigging safety, operations, and productivity at CRC/ICHC, which will take place Dec. 3-4.

Held consecutively for the last five years at locations in the Midwest and Gulf Coast, the Crane & Rigging Conference and Industrial Crane & Hoist Conference return to Houston, Texas, in 2014. Safety and risk managers, crane and rigging supervisors, lift directors, and facilities managers, will have the opportunity to attend more than a dozen educational sessions addressing the newest standards and regulations, industry trends, and risk management practices.

During the conference, attendees will have a chance to interact with products and services vendors of interest to crane and rigging operations. Mark Bridger, Director of Business Development for CRC/ICHC, announces the first two exhibitors to join the program. “Lifting Gear Hire, a lifting equipment rental specialist, is a five-time returning exhibitor. With 17 locations across the United States, LGH stocks more than 40,000 pieces of hoisting, pulling, jacking, and rigging equipment,” he said.

A new vendor joining the controlled exhibition is MetalEZ, part of the Adjutant suite of Business Automation Solutions, Houston, Texas. Added Value Workshop

As an added value to CRC/ICHC attendees, North American Crane Bureau will present Pre-Conference Workshop for crane and rigging workers at on becoming qualified as a Crane Assembly/Disassembly Director. Among the topics covered in the full-day workshop, to be held Dec. 2, are crew communication, safe work procedures, determining load weights, rigging requirements, and component election.

Attendees who register for both CRC/ICHC and the Pre-Conference A/D Director Workshop receive a total discount of $225 of both registrations.

The Workshop comes with accompanying Continuing Education Credits and is conveniently located at the conference hotel at the Hilton NASA Clear Lake.
