ASME B30 Committee Honored by Texas Town
On January 18, the ASME B30 Committee, New York, N.Y., was welcomed to Sugar Land, Texas, by Mayor James A. Thompson, who presented the committee with a Certificate of Proclamation recognizing and commending the B30 Committee for their commitment to crane safety.
The certificate further recognizes the committee’s relationship with OSHA and the construction industry in specifying manufacturing, operating, and inspection requirements. Mike Parnell, president of Industrial Training International, Woodland, Wash., and B30 Committee vice-chair, accepted the honor on behalf of the committee.
