The West Palm Beach location is home to ten cranes, ranging from an 8-ton capacity Shuttlelift carrydeck crane to a 240-ton capacity Tadano ATF220G all-terrain crane. Two of these 10 cranes are brand new 2015 models from Tadano. Sims is anticipating by the end of 2016 they will attain even more and larger cranes with intense lifting capacities to suit lifting needs.
Because of this upcoming expansion, the Sims Crane team is on the hunt for highly skilled employees, including crane operators and truck drivers. The West Palm Beach team consists of 14 employees, and that number is expecting to grow to 20-30 employees by the end of 2016.
“Opening the office in West Palm Beach has provided better local access to existing and potential clients, with faster emergency response time for after-hours job calls,” said Dean Sims II, Sims Crane Vice President of Marketing. Now with 11 locations across the state, it is obvious why Sims Crane & Equipment is the leading crane and rigging company in Florida.
