• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older
• Medical verification of vision, hearing, strength and other physical requirements
• Compliance with ASME B30 substance abuse testing rules
• Passing score on a written exam
• Successfully pass a practical exams on a hammerhead, Luffer or self-erecting tower crane
• Adherence to the NCCCO Code of Ethics

Participation in our Safety Management Program and personal accountability for safety are also required of all Sims Crane & Equipment team members at all 15 of our locations. Program requirements that are specific to crane operators include equipment selection and inspection, lift planning, ongoing safety training and performance monitoring.
