Tower cranes were used to build the One World Trade Center in New York, Kingdom Tower in Saudi Arabia, and many other impressively tall buildings around the world. Typically, tower cranes used in high-rise buildings, bridge, dam, shipyard and power plant construction projects are stationary cranes that are self-erecting or manually assembled at the job site, while the tower crane operator on the construction site is, ultimately, responsible for the safety of everyone on and near the jobsite.
Ever since our family-owned-and-operated company was founded in 1959, safety has always been, and continues to be, our number one priority. Sims Crane & Equipment is the heavy equipment company renowned in the crane and rigging industry for our safety practices, training and education. We firmly believe there is never a job so important or any service or call so urgent that we cannot take time to work safely.
