Italian crane manufacturer Galizia has sold its first GF400 battery-electric pick and carry crane. The sale was made during the Bauma construction equipment exhibition in Munich, Germany, in April 2013.
The GF400 has a capacity of 44 tons, a compact chassis and comes with radio remote control for traction, steering, boom and winch functions. It also has removable counterweights. The crane was sold to Jozef Hermans, a lifting company in the Netherlands.
Other crane models also sold during the Bauma show included the GF200, G20, the Multis 636 and a G35, which was sold to a customer in Mexico. The GF25, an updated version of the GF200, was also on show.
