In Little Over Two Years ITI Doubles Number of Employees

Industrial Training International reports it has doubled its employee head-count in the last 28 months, adding instructors in the United States and Canada and business professionals at its corporate headquarters in Woodland, Wash. In upcoming months ITI also plans to add marketing and administration personnel in Woodland and Edmonton, Alberta.

Recent hires include:

Instructor Joe Kuzar is an experienced mobile crane operator with a background in civil, oil and gas, transportation, and commercial construction. Kuzar lives in Virginia and joined ITI on April 16, 2012.

Patrick Cotnoir, instructor and business development, comes from Vancouver, British Columbia and has been with ITI since April 30, 2012. His expertise lies in wire rope and rigging applications, as well as sales management.

Les Bernier, instructor, began his career with ITI on May 7, 2012. He lives in Lakeland, Fla. Bernier has a great deal of experience in public speaking and training from the rigging distribution business and maintains core competencies in wire rope and rigging.

Steve Miles, instructor and technical support, is experienced in machinery moving and heavy rigging fields. He will be contributing to the training and field services teams of ITI, where he will conduct training courses, accident investigations, and crane, and rigging audits. Miles is a native of Scappoose, Ore., and began service with ITI on Aug. 28, 2012.

Instructor Patrick Dower began his career with ITI on Oct. 1, 2012, and comes to the company from Edmonton, Alberta. A construction safety professional, Dower began his career in industry as a ticketed pipefitter and plumber. He has rigging and safety-related experience in Alberta with some of the area’s largest construction and modular fabrication organizations.

Instructor Ken Klassen is a seasoned steamfitter/pipefitter, plumber, and gasfitter. He brings a great deal of rigging and lifting experience to education from the chemical, forestry, and oil/gas industries to ITI. A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Klassen started working for ITI on Oct. 1, 2012, serving clients in Western Canada.
