Eagle West Crane Acquired by Bigfoot Crane Company

Bigfoot Crane Company Inc., Abbotsford, British Columbia, reports it has acquired Eagle West Cranes & Equipment Inc. This is a separate company and acquisition from East West Truck & Crane Inc., which was purchased by TNT Crane & Rigging in August.

Bigfoot Crane provides sales, rentals, and service for self-erecting and full-size tower cranes, including hydraulic and telescopic tower cranes, city cranes, and climbing tower cranes. It is also the North American distributor of San Marco cranes out of Italy, as well as the Italian-made Boscaro-brand under-hook accessories. These products range from self-dumping garbage bins, personnel baskets, and concrete buckets to spreaders bars and pallet forks.

Ryan Burton is the managing partner for Bigfoot Crane Company, overseeing all aspects of the business. Cale Anderson is in charge of product promotion and support for Bigfoot dealers promoting San Marco and Boscaro products in North America.

According to Burton, Bigfoot Crane’s primary business is the crane rental market in Western Canada, but the company also offers mobilization, repair, and maintenance services for customers with their own crane fleets. In addition, it took over Eagle West’s Training Academy, providing crane and rigging training on most styles of cranes throughout Western Canada.
