The ConExpo-Con exhibition, held last week in Las Vegas, attracted nearly 130,000 visitors, according to preliminary figures from the organizer, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). Speaking on the final day of the exhibition, ConExpo-Con show director, Megan Tanel said, “Overall the show is over 2.35 million sq ft. That is 7% larger than our last event. Attendance numbers are on track to be about 8% ahead of where we were in 2011, so we’re just shy of 130,000 people. On top of that, our international attendance is fabulous. We’re 8% larger than we were in 2011. We’re over 31,000 people from outside the United States.”
The exhibition runs on a three year cycle. It will be next held in March 2017.
